A Hong Kong taxi driver delivers a cryptic letter from a recently deceased man (Klaus Kinski) to the police commissioner (Rupert Davies), who passes it on to its intended recipient, an American jet-setter named Bob Mitchell (Robert Cummings). "Five golden dragons" is the brief, mysterious message. Things only get stranger from there, as Bob finds himself drawn into a whirlwind of murder, romance and intrigue.
