Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh adapts three surreal, darkly comic vignettes from his collection of short stories set in the Scottish slums, including the title tale about an acidhead who switches bodies with a pampered infant. In "The Granton Star Cause," a slacker faces a string of rejections, thanks to the whims of a cruel, foulmouthed God. In "A Soft Touch," a hapless husband struggles with a sadistic neighbor.
