Paul Thérien just turned 30. He has a dead-end job, no girlfriend and no hobbies of any sort. One boring day, something extraordinary happens: Paul gets a visit from a ghost! After the initial shock, Paul learns that this spook is the spirit of his deceased older self. The ghost explains that his life was a total disappointment, and that with the help of the High Council of Destiny, he has managed to negotiate a new future for Paul.
