After watching psychiatrist James Hamilton (Eric Fleming) hypnotize a suicidal killer, George (Frank Marth), troubled Ann Summers (Nancy Malone) begs the doctor to treat her, and as he falls in love with her, James uncovers her belief that she is the reincarnation of an Austrian noble. James searches for the source of Ann's emotional distress, but it is her rapport with George, who resembles a lover from her past life, that promises a cure.
