Archaeologists Steve Banning (Dick Foran) and Babe Jenson (Wallace Ford) are determined to find the tomb of Princess Ananka. But equally resolved to stop them is museum curator professor Andoheb (George Zucco), secretly a high priest of Karnak sent to protect the sacred tomb. As the scientists exhume the site, Andoheb brews the mystic tana leaves that revive the mummy Kharis (Tom Tyler) and consequently dooms all those within the mummy's reach.
