British documentarian Nick Broomfield, famous for appearing in his own investigations, takes a trip to Los Angeles, where he investigates the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls, the East Coast/West Coast rap rivalries and Death Row Records boss Suge Knight. (Turns out Death Row Records employs more than 40 moonlighting LAPD cops as security guards … which might have had something to do with the failure of the investigation!)
