Don Keefer

The young son of a recently deceased clown unwittingly joins forces with a mysterious wanderer who ends up using his father's circus make-up as a disguise while the two evade the police.

Based on a short story by Rod Serling ("The Twilight Zone"), a cop "mistakenly" kills a 14-year-old boy during a robbery. Although acquitted for the shooting, the cop is haunted by his crime.
