During a babysitting shift, a young woman happens upon a VHS tape appearing to present various gruesome murders executed by a psychotic clown.

Siblings Regina and Devon return to their hometown in the desert badlands of Utah many years after a brutal attack made them leave. Still traumatised and not able to remember what happened on that particular day of the attack, Regina completely relies on her brother. Being morally supported by a group of friends, they are soon hunted by the guys who apparently attacked them all those years ago.

An aimless Juilliard dropout becomes the primary caregiver for her first music teacher, her ailing father, while trying to figure out her life path.
