1940. The Russians send a prototype of a new cutting-edge tank on a secret mission to Moscow. Soon the cross-country run turns into a ruthless race.

Russia 88 is a gang of Moscow skinheads their slogan - “Russia for Russians.” The gang and their charismatic leader – Blade – spend their days drinking, smoking and indiscriminately attacking immigrants who they believe are taking “Russian” jobs and tainting the Russian bloodline. Blade’s family life is strained – his father wants him to make something out of his life and his sister treats his fascist beliefs with ill concealed amusement. But Blade is a pure believer he dismisses overtures from the well financed fascist organisations that want to manipulate him for their own needs and when he discovers his sister is dating a foreigner it puts his beliefs to the ultimate test.

This documentary follows a group of asylum seekers as they navigate the German immigration process and await news of their applications.
