Mumtaz Begum

Geeta, an educated woman, gets married to Ratan. However, Ratan believes that educated women are incapable of managing a family and refuses to accept Geeta. Tormented by Ratan's behaviour, Geeta leaves Ratan and goes on to become a doctor.

It’s been years since two childhood friends were separated during a flood. When they reunite, they wish to get married, but complications arise.
