In Gamera: Guardian of the Universe, a team of scientists discover orihalcum amulets and a stone slab covered in Etrurian runes on a floating atoll off the eastern coast of the Philippines. As they investigate, they encounter Gamera, a giant turtle, and Gyaos, bird-like creatures that attack humans.

A barkeeper saves a Yakuza boss' life and thus makes his way up in the organisation. However his fear of nothing soon causes problems.
