After realizing his foolishness, Ken returns to Tekong to continue his basic military training and reforms himself as a model recruit. His newfound drive causes friction with his comrades, but they must stick together through thick and thin.

Ken Chow pulls out all the stops to escape from enlistment. However, after his efforts prove unsuccessful, he joins equally incompetent army recruits as they blunder their way through their basic military training in Pulau Tekong.
