Terence Longdon

In the second installment of the Carry On series, the patients at Haven Hospital prove problematic for the doctors and nurses attending to their ailments. Overseeing the men's ward, the no-nonsense Matron (Hattie Jacques) and her staff, including Nurse Dorothy Denton (Shirley Eaton), deal with medical matters large and small. In the case of the usual Carry On cast, their health serves as the primary source of humor.

Lana Turner is a female American journalist who has an affair with BBC war correspondent, Sean Connery, during WWII. When Connery is killed in action, Turner returns to his hometown to console his wife.
