Set in Ireland this movie is notable as the first movie in which John Wayne is clearly visible, as a spectator at the steeplechase who knocks down a fence.

But when she finally wises up and insists he go straight, Chandler heads to Park Avenue, where his phony act leads to murder, with Sylvia left holding the bag.
