Narkover’ School is perhaps more famous for its forgers than its academic prowess. Dr Alex Smart covets the post of headmaster through enlisting the help of Brown, an ex-pupil, with a good record in forgery! Smart is then forced in return to employ Brown so that he can prepare for a theft he will undertake when a rich founder, Lady Dorking, visits the school wearing a priceless necklace. Inevitably all does not go according to plan and what results causes much hilarity and confusion! Starring Will Hay and Gordon Harker.

1937. The council whom Bill works for are turning to motor transport to replace the horse and cart. Bill, unable to accept the change, buys his horse and sets off to seek work in the country. He encounters many folk that he helps along the way.

The relatives of a millionaire, the victim of a mysterious murder, get together at his house to search for his will, which he recorded on a record. However, one of them is actually the person who killed him, and will let nothing or no one stand in the way of finding that record.
