The story of the big changes a family and a country went through at the beginning of the last century. Seen through the eyes of a 10 year old boy and his grandfather living in a small town in Crete, we witness the enormous upheaval when the Turkish population had to migrate in the early 20th century. It is a grand story about migration and fears but also about love and forgiveness.

Ozgur and Deniz meet for the first time when they are babies after their parents crash into each other on the way to the hospital. They meet several times throughout their life and each time drastic events happen after.
