The film starts off with Vaishakan (Manoj K Jayan) a man aspiring to be a film director, telling his dreadful story to a film producer named Achayan (Jagathy Sreekumar). He gets told from Achayan that Vaishakan's story is not worthy of being a film produced by him.

Auto driver Mathai always helps the needy. However, on the day of a strike, he tries to resolve a doctor and his wife's fight, leading to a series of conflicts.
