In the distant future, three hardened criminals are conscripted by the Cyber Police to combat a crime wave in the hi-tech metropolis of Oedo.

Yamato Hino, an athletic high school boy in modern-day Tokyo. At first, Yamato thinks he's going crazy when he gets messages from a spectral young woman, but she eventually convinces him to take the plunge through a mystical portal to ancient Mu.

In this anime spinoff of the sci-fi television series, Takeru has been sent from a distant planet to destroy the earth. However, as he learns of the beauty of the earth and its inhabitants, he begins to question his mission.
