Surkhi Bindi is a 2019 Indian-Punjabi drama film starring Sargun Mehta, Gurnam Bhullar, Rupinder Rupi and Nisha Bano. Rano, a make-up artist, dreams of marrying a charming prince from Canada, but realises it won’t be an easy task for an average looking girl like her. Refusing to give up, she decides to use her talent to reach Canada and fulfil her dreams.

Set in 1947, it is the story of families who had to vacate their homes during the partition. A love story blossoms in this chaos.
