Oliver Reed

Captain Harry Flashman is a cowardly rogue in 19th century Europe. His attempts at climbing the social ladder draw him into the devious plans of others and the arms of a duchess. But things don't go as planned and Flashman escapes through Europe.

Failed American comedian Tommy Fawkes lives under the shadow of his successful comic father. Trying to find his own niche in life, he begins searching for the funniest sketches in the world and travels to Blackpool where he encounters the tragi-comic Parker family and begins to uncover his own dark family secret.
