Bahadoor

Aaravam is a 1978 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Bharathan. The film stars Nedumudi Venu, Prameela, Pratap Pothan, KPAC Lalitha, Bahadoor and Janardhanan in the lead roles. Actor Pratap Pothan was introduced in this film along with composer Ousepachan, who played the role of a fiddle player. The cinematography was handled by Ashok Kumar. The film has musical score by M. G. Radhakrishnan and background score by Johnson and Ousepachan.

CID officer Chandran gets murdered by a gang of smugglers. Later, CID Nazir is assigned the job of nailing the culprits.

Raja Vamana Varma dies mysteriously. Many murders follow. The government delegates anthropologist Dr Menon to investigate the deaths in and around the palace.

Appu is brought up by his father as he has been told that his mother is dead. What happens when he learns that she is alive?
