Alex is running out of chances, so her parents send her to work for the summer at a horse ranch deep in the countryside. It is literally her worst nightmare as she is forced to work hard and care for something other than herself. When the rather shy Kathy arrives she ignites feelings in Alex that go beyond friendship. The film shows a realistic, unsparing look at the endless cycle of drugs, alcohol and drug-related crime, which Sin wants to escape with her last strength, but she can manage it only by breaking off consistently all bridges behind her. The longing to travel to sunny Greece ends for the physically entirely leached Sin once again only in the rehab.
