Clark dreams of becoming a famous screenwriter. When a big Hollywood movie begins filming in his quaint hometown, he sneaks his way onto the movie set. Clark finds himself face-to-face with the movie's star, Helena Harris. The two begin to fall for each other and she offers to help him achieve his dream. However, things become complicated by the return of Emily, Clark's high school sweetheart.

A cheap producer must write a script and find the perfect cast when he finally gets the chance to make his dream movie about dirty jokes.
