While a big storm approaches, Elias the rescue boat gets an emergency call from the neighboring city Big Harbor, asking him to rescue a boat in trouble by a cave known as the Black Hole. As a result of his bravery during this mission, Elias is offered a promotion and a chance to move to the Big Harbor. He accepts and leaves his friends behind to try his luck in the big city.

Little Elias is a young tugboat driver who lives in a small coastal town called Cosy Cove. Its charm is that all its inhabitants are objects. Fishing boats, jetties, rescue helicopters, cranes, lighthouses and more all have a lot of charisma.

Forklift driver Kurt and his family live a completely normal, surburban life. That is, until Dr. Petter moves in next door.
