A team of scientists must race against time to stop what seems to be a cascade of global disasters signaling a possible apocalypse.

Frank "Bullet" Marasco is nearing retirement, but he is still the meanest undercover cop in LA. After another undercover drug bust, Bullet comes up against the local drug baron Carlito Kane, who has a master plan to get his son off death row, kidnapping Frank's grandson with hopes to get a pardon from the Governor by forcing Bullet to rescind his testimony that put his son on death row.
