Taťjana Medvecká

A timid painter falls for a charming window arranger but his inexperience, her jealous boyfriend and her sudden disappearance pose romantic challenges.

Czechoslovakia in the 1980, young and talented sprinter Anna is selected for the national team and starts training for the Olympics. The team starts a secret medical programme which includes anabolic steroids. Her performance improves, but, after a collapse, she decides to quit using doping, even though her mother is worried that she might not achieve their only chance to escape the Iron Curtain.
