Attila Mokos

At the end of World War II, the restive border regions which are being repopulated by Czechs moving in from interior regions of the country. Fate reunites Jan with his brother-in-law Jurgen in a forced labor camp. After a daring escape, they flee through the mountains looking for Jan's wife Agnes, who is also Jurgen's sister. She is also on the run, hunted by the men whom she witnessed committing a horrific crime. Based on a true story that occurred in the Sumperk region.

A neurosurgeon leaves her life and career behind in America and returns to Budapest to start anew with her true love who claims they've never met.
