A group Afro-Colombians, socially diverse, all “down on their luck”, accompany a successful singer as extras in a GOSPEL choir. The “extras” are treated more like a “setting” than as human beings. Due to cost limitations, these choir extras are being excluded from going on a national tour. Now empowered, they will fight tooth and nail to assert their status and importance in the show.
