Five 30-something men in as many separate segments struggle to grapple with the relentless absurdity of their respective existences.

After the death of his wife, pig farmer Ronald is left to care for both his daughter and the farm. Increasingly strict environmental regulations hang over him like a sword of Damocles. To make matters worse, animal rights activist Erik — unaware of Ronald’s struggles — launches an escalating hate campaign against him. Ronald is pushed to the brink of despair.

When the newly elected mayor decides to tackle a gang of drug criminals running his city, he and his family become the target of a brutal retaliation.
