Joe Mari Avellana

On a mission to rescue POWs, Johnny Ransom (Robert Patrick) and his men are captured by the North Vietnamese just when the U.S. pulls out of the war. He escapes and then goes back in with a group of men to rescue his friends.

Carmina begins to doubt her future with poor Gabriel when another suitor dazzles her with expensive gifts. Overhearing Carmina's sentiments, Gabriel is heartbroken and goes away to return a wealthy man to prove his worthiness to Carmina.
