Frederick Leister

After escaping from a concentration camp in 1940, Karel assumes the identity of a dead British officer, only to become a prisoner of war.

1944. Joan's (Patricia Medina) mother wants her to marry her pompous boss although she loves a soldier (Jimmy Handley).

1955. The ex-convict father of a prominent society woman is released from prison, and goes to live with his daughter. She pretends he is an old friend, but tries to keep him out of sight, but all he wants to do is go back to prison.
