Jason Forbes

Armed with a multitude of crazy inventions, and alongside his eccentric allies Colonel Dedshott, (Simon Day) Mrs. Flittersnoop (Vicki Pepperdine) and young apprentice Connie, Branestawm, the original mad professor, takes on scheming businessman Mr. Bullimore (Ben Miller) and officious local councillor Harold Haggerstone, (David Mitchell) to try and stop their plans to bulldoze his workshop to make way for a giant munitions factory, right in the middle of town.

Like dogs loose at a football match, Freya Parker and Celeste Dring burst onto the screen. Social commentary and people falling over in a smart yet totally stupid sketch show.
