Middle school principal Addison Tate wants this Christmas to be special for her kids especially since the School Board has decided that it will be the last as the school will be closing. She invites Hollywood star Dylan Davidson, a former alumni and old flame, to direct the school play in an effort to save the school.

Perfumer, Ellie, is tasked to create a holiday scent. Seeking inspiration, she returns to her family home for Christmas. She meets writer, Logan, who is staying with her father at the family's historic property. Finding her father struggling to keep her late mother's candle business afloat, Ellie and Logan complete the orders bringing Christmas cheer back to the town, all while falling in love.
