After being released from prison for armed robbery, Jenny sets out to build a relationship with her now 10 year old daughter. But her old gang wants Jenny back and after they threaten to her daughter, Jenny must take action.

The Almost Man is Henrik, a 35 year old man who still parties with his high-school buddies like they were still in they're 20s. His mother cares for him like he's still a child. And he's in a relationship that's based on goofing around. Now, his girlfriend Tone is pregnant and Henrik has to take a serious job, move into a conform duplex, calm down the partying, and start behaving like a father to be - like an adult. But as Henrik feels the pressure to mature, and to do it quickly, his frustrations surface in unforeseen ways.
