Tambet Tuisk

In 1950 the Soviets try to crush a budding resistance movement in the countryside of Estonia. A girl does not understand why her mother is arrested or why her father is upset when she cheers on the young pioneers as they march.

A village girl travels to the Lao capital, Vientiane, to care for her rich cousin who has lost her sight, and gained the ability to communicate with the dead.

An outcast in school is scared away from home by his mother's schizophrenia, which is worsening. It soon becomes clear to him that the only way out is by changing and improving himself.
