A retelling of Jeremías Gallardo's story, a prominent Chilean journalist who, on January 29, 1985, covered the last death sentence in Chile, perpetrated in the Valparaíso prison.

After a heart attack, retired general Jose Mendieta is haunted by his past work aiding a CIA-backed campaign of political repression in Latin America.

In the forests of southern Chile, a young Mapuche woman, Sayen, sets out to hunt down the mercenaries who murdered her grandmother.  Utilizing her training, she is able to survive and turn the tables on these interlopers.  She must choose between walking away, or protecting not only her own but also other indigenous groups from the sinister corporation that threatens their lands and livelihoods.

A relaxing weekend in the countryside turn nightmarish for a group of women when a deranged man and his demonic son brutally attack them.
