Overview
In Manchester's Pepperhill Estate, Triad and street gangs clash. Cousins Ray and Terry, once in prison, face a power struggle. Ray wants out and loves Clare, but Terry, obsessed, refuses to let him leave. The Triads grow stronger, killing a gang member, prompting revenge. Aging gangster Bernie (DAVID BOWIE) tries to maintain peace amidst the chaos.
