The Greening of Whitney Brown

Overview

Whitney, a spoiled pre-teen from Philadelphia, is forced to move to the country when her parents hit economic hard times. Accepting her fate, Whitney befriends a horse named Bob, but when she learns that her supposedly best friend Lindsay has been spreading rumours about her back in the city, Whitney climbs onto Bob and undertakes a brash and adventure-filled journey back to Philadelphia.
