Overview

INTERRUPTION is the postmodern theatre adaptation of the classical Greek tragedy Orestie by Aeschylus about power, revenge and the concept of law and justice. The film was inspired by real events. In 2002, Chechen separatists took 850 people hostage at the Dubrovka Theatre in Moscow. The audience initially thought the hostage-taking was part of the play.
