Overview

As winter creeps towards his home in rural Newfoundland, widower Patrick Whelan finds himself at odds with a young man who just returned home from the penitentiary and is determined to breathe new life into a long-standing blood feud. As violence erupts, Patrick is left plagued by guilt and fractured home life.
