Overview
King Laurin tells a story, embedded in a famous South Tyrolean legend about King Laurin and his myth-enshrouded rose garden. Inbetween the legend's heroic figures, like Dietrich, Hildebrand, Similde and of course Dwarf King Laurin, the film tells the story of Theo. Theo is King Dietrich's son and successor to the throne, who appears to be too small and too weak to fulfill his father's hopes.
