Overview

The third and final film in Peter Jackson's "Hobbit" series finds Bilbo Baggins and his dwarf compatriots at war against the evil dragon Smaug and a massive army of Orcs -- courtesy of the dark lord Sauron. With the future of Middle Earth at stake, its various inhabitants -- elves, humans and dwarves, among them -- must put aside their differences and their greed to stop their enemy.
