Pharaoh

Overview

After the death of his father, the youthful Ramses XIII becomes ruler of Egypt. But his reign quickly comes into conflict with the powerful priesthood, who control the empire's vast treasury and seek to undermine his ambitions. As Ramses defiantly assumes control of the army, the country becomes locked in a bitter struggle between those loyal to the new ruler and those clinging to the old guard.
