Overview

Shot on diaphanous 16 mm, this dreamy exploration of sexual awakening and the complicated feelings it can stir follows sixteen-year-old Grace as she prepares for her baptism in the rural 1950s South. When she learns she must repent before the ritual, Grace contemplates her budding romantic feelings toward her best friend Louise.
